BEING A BIT MORE FLEXIBLE

Nicomatic have recently opened a new manufacturing facility here in the UK to specifically deal with flexible interconnect solutions.

Such was demand from customers, that Nicomatic’s new flexible approach means that the flat circuits – in high temperature polyimide, PTFE and polyester - can be custom designed to suit individual customer applications and specific requirements.

Involved right from the beginning, Nicomatic has the capacity to develop the early prototypes and take it right through to large-scale production. The flexible circuits can be terminated with Nicomatic’s standard crimpflex connector or to any source specified by the customer whether it be pin headers, d-subs, or designed for zif/lif sockets.

These flexible interface solutions are ideal for meeting a growing demand for interconnection between multi-points requiring a flat solution with flexibility instead of traditional cable harnessing.
