Microphones are available in SMD surface mount, with or without pins or alternatively with a leadwire which can be to your required length. Leadwires can also be fitted with a specific connector and with other components in line or with rubber holders.

Capacitors can also be built into the microphone thereby reducing costs in assembly and assisting with noise reduction.

Unit of Sensitivity

  • We use "Pascal (Pa)" as the unit of sensitivity in all of our specifications instead of "u bar" "Pascal" is per the recommendation of I.E.C. (International Electrotechnical Commission) and is currently the most commonly accepted. In some intances "ubar" is still used.
  • To convert "ubar" to "Pascal", simply add 20dB. Be sure you are adding a positive number to a negative number
    e.g. –62dB(0dB=1V/u bar)= -42(0dB=1V/pa)
